WHITE SEMI-SPARKLING WINE
NEROMOSSO
NERELLO MASCALESE VINIFIED AS A WHITE WINE AND NATIVE AROMATIC WHITE GRAPES

DISCOVER THE MAGIC OF BUBBLY,
THE SOCIABLE WINE
Neromosso’s delicate bubbles are full of energy and fun.
The Nerello Mascalese grapes, picked early, are transformed into vivacious white wine as if by magic.
The French would call it Blanc de Noirs, but we Sicilians prefer to call it NEROMOSSO.
IN THE VINEYARD
TERRAIN
Vineyards on the east side of the Volcano on sandy soils of volcanic origin, with wide temperature variations from day to night.
TRAINING SYSTEM
Cordon training.
HARVEST
The Nerello Mascalese grapes are picked by hand in mid-September, before they are fully ripe, to preserve their zesty acidity and moderate sugar content.
VINE AGE
5-15 years.
QUANTITY PER HECTARE
90 quintals (9000 kg) per ha.
IN THE WINERY
Vinification: gentle whole-bunch pressing, using the technique for vinifying red grapes as white wine. The residual sugar transforms itself into a light fizz which makes the wine delicately bubbly with a vibrant structure.

TASTING NOTES
Neromosso shows off its vitality in its brilliant straw-yellow colour. The delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruits entice you to discover its fresh, soft palate. The bubbles give Neromosso an unexpected character for a wine made so far south.
COLOUR
Bright straw-yellow with coppery tones.
NOSE
Intense floral scents with delicate aromas of white-fleshed fruit.
STRUCTURE
Soft, fresh, with delicate fizz.
